Libra ST235/80R16 All Steel Set
This set of four Libra trailer tires is best for buyers who need ST235/80R16 size and want a stated capacity of 4,190 pounds per tire. The listing specifies all-steel construction, Load Range H, a 16-ply rating, and an M speed rating. It is described for large, heavy RVs or trailers and as a replacement for regular ST235/80R16 tires.
Choose this option if the size, capacity, and set quantity match your trailer’s requirements. The tires are designed for trailer use only, not for use as vehicle tires. Rims are not included, so plan separately if you need wheels.
Transeagle ST235/85R16 All Season
The Transeagle is best for buyers seeking an ST235/85R16 trailer tire with all-season traction listed in the product details. It has radial construction, a black sidewall, Load Range H, and a 16-ply rating. Its stated service description identifies it as a highway tire manufactured for trailers.
The listing gives a 133/128L load and speed designation but does not state a weight capacity in the supplied features. Compare the designation and size with your trailer’s requirements rather than assuming capacity from the ply rating alone. Package quantity is also not specified in the provided product information.
Gremax HD ST235/85R16 Set
This Gremax option is best for trailer owners whose approved fitment is ST235/85R16 and who want a listed capacity of 4,540 pounds. The supplied features describe heavy-duty all-steel construction, Load Range H, a 16-ply rating, and a set of four. It is intended for big, heavy RVs or trailers as a replacement for regular semi-steel ST235/85R16 tires.
Choose it over an ST235/80R16 option only when the larger listed size is appropriate for your trailer. The tires are trailer-use only, and rims are not included. Check the trailer and tire specifications before ordering.
GREMAX ST235/80R16 All Steel Tire
This GREMAX tire is best for buyers matching an ST235/80R16 fitment who want a listed 4,190-pound capacity. Its features include all-steel radial construction, Load Range H, and a 16-ply rating. The manufacturer’s product description positions it for large, heavy RVs or trailers and as a replacement for regular semi-steel tires in this size.
The listing name describes a tire rather than a set, so verify the quantity before purchasing if you need multiple tires. It is designed for trailer use only, and rims are not included.
GREMAX ST235/80R16 Set Of Four
This GREMAX set is best for buyers who need four ST235/80R16 Load Range H tires. The listed features specify all-steel construction, a 16-ply rating, and a 4,190-pound capacity. Like the other GREMAX ST235/80R16 option, it is described for heavy RVs or trailers and as a replacement for regular semi-steel tires.
The set quantity is explicit in the product name, which helps shoppers comparing single-tire listings with multi-tire packages. These tires are for trailer use only; rims are not included. Confirm that the size and capacity match your equipment.
Buying Guide: How To Choose Load Range H 16-Ply Tires
Which tire size should you select?
Start with the size specified for your trailer, such as ST235/80R16 or ST235/85R16. These sizes are not interchangeable just because both products have Load Range H and a 16-ply rating. Check the trailer’s documentation and existing tire specifications before selecting a replacement.
How should you compare load capacity?
Use the stated capacity when it is provided, and compare it with the required load for your application. The listed products specify 4,190 pounds for the ST235/80R16 Libra and GREMAX tires and 4,540 pounds for the Gremax ST235/85R16. The Transeagle listing’s supplied features do not give a weight capacity. Do not treat a ply rating alone as a substitute for confirming load requirements.
Does all-steel construction matter?
Several products specifically list all-steel construction, while the Transeagle description identifies radial construction but does not state all-steel construction in the supplied features. Compare the construction details if that is a priority. Also check the product description for trailer-use restrictions and remember that the products described here do not include rims.
Should you buy a single tire or a set?
Package details vary. The Libra and two GREMAX listings identify sets of four, while one GREMAX product is named as a tire and the Transeagle package quantity is not specified in the supplied information. Verify the quantity before ordering so it matches the number of replacements needed.
