The best golf cart roof and frame upgrade depends on your cart model and how you use it. For roof support on a 1994–2013 EZGO TXT, consider the 10L0L steel struts; for shade over a rear seat, compare KEMIMOTO’s model-specific canvas tops. The KEMIMOTO roof rack adds storage, while the ECOTRIC flip seat is a frame-related option for carrying passengers or cargo. Check the listed model years before choosing: these products are not universal.

10L0L EZGO TXT Roof Strut Brackets
These front roof struts are designed specifically for 1994–2013 EZGO TXT golf carts. The complete kit includes two struts and mounting screws and nuts, so the listed package provides hardware along with the replacement supports. The brackets use high-strength steel with a corrosion-resistant coating, according to the product details.
Best for: Owners of a 1994–2013 EZGO TXT seeking replacement front roof supports. It stands out for combining model-specific fitment with included mounting hardware. Limitation: The listing says it is not compatible with 2014 or newer models. Confirm the cart’s year and model before ordering.
KEMIMOTO 85-Inch RXV Canvas Sun Top
This extended soft roof measures 85 inches and is designed to cover the top of a rear seat. Its 1200D Oxford cloth has a waterproof coating, and the listing describes the material as anti-aging, non-fading, waterproof, and tear-resistant. The extended coverage is intended to provide shade and rain protection over the rear seating area.
Best for: EZGO RXV 2008-up Upgrade owners who want a canvas top extending over the rear seat. Choose it if added coverage matters more than a rigid roof panel. Limitation: Fitment is specified for the RXV 2008-up Upgrade; the product details do not establish compatibility with other cart models. Verify the exact vehicle before buying.
KEMIMOTO EZGO TXT Roof Rack
This metal roof rack is listed for 1994–2013 EZGO TXT carts. Its stated dimensions are 50 inches long, 33 inches wide, and 5 inches high. The rack has a matte black coating, and the product description identifies golf bags, backpacks, and camping gear as examples of items it can hold.
Best for: TXT owners who want to move gear out of the passenger area and use roof-mounted storage. Its defined dimensions and metal construction make it a distinct option from a replacement roof strut or soft top. Limitation: The listing specifies one model and year range. Check that fitment and available roof space match your cart before purchase.
KEMIMOTO 84.6-Inch EZGO TXT Sun Top
This extended canvas roof measures 84.6 inches and is listed for EZGO TXT models from 1994 through 2013. Like the RXV top above, it uses 1200D Oxford cloth with a waterproof coating. The product description says the extended top covers the rear-seat area and is designed to provide shade and rain protection.
Best for: Owners of a 1994–2013 EZGO TXT who want a soft, extended roof covering the rear seat. The model-specific fitment distinguishes it from the 85-inch RXV version. Limitation: It is not described as a universal top. Confirm the cart’s model year and body style before ordering.
ECOTRIC EZGO TXT Flip Back Seat Kit
This rear flip seat kit is listed as compatible with EZGO TXT carts from 1995 onward. Its frame has a black industrial powder coating, and the cushions use marine-grade vinyl. The product description presents the seat as a way to add rear passenger seating or cargo-carrying utility, with a tube-bent frame construction.
Best for: EZGO TXT owners who need a rear seat that supports passenger or cargo use. It is a frame-related upgrade rather than a roof component, so it is most relevant when updating the cart’s rear seating area alongside roof accessories. Limitation: The listed fitment is for EZGO TXT models; verify the year and configuration for your cart.
Buying Guide: How To Choose A Golf Cart Roof And Frame Upgrade
Which cart model and year do you have?
Start with the cart’s make, model, and year. The struts, rack, and TXT canvas top above list compatibility with EZGO TXT carts from 1994–2013. The other canvas top is listed for an EZGO RXV 2008-up Upgrade. The ECOTRIC seat listing says 1995 and up EZGO TXT. Similar names do not guarantee interchangeable parts, so match the product’s stated fitment carefully.
Do you need support, shade, or storage?
- Choose roof struts when the priority is replacing front roof supports and mounting hardware.
- Choose a canvas sun top when you want soft-top coverage, including over a rear seat.
- Choose a roof rack when your main need is carrying gear outside the passenger area.
- Consider a flip seat when adding rear passenger or cargo utility is the goal.
Is a soft top or metal accessory the better match?
The two canvas tops use coated 1200D Oxford cloth and are described as waterproof. The roof rack is metal with a matte black coating, while the strut kit uses coated steel. These descriptions identify different materials and purposes; they do not establish that one accessory can replace another. Check the product dimensions and vehicle fitment, and review installation requirements before purchase.
